I'm Warrior Tang. I'm not a real warrior, I just play one on the Internet.
My political leanings? I sometimes call myself a conservative: conserve the environment, conserve labour and environmental laws, conserve respect for civil rights, conserve the strict separation between Church and State that our Founding Fathers intended, et cetera. More often, I have my political leanings assigned to me: on what I call IdiotMedia I'm a Jewish Nazi Fascist while in other places I'm a Communist Traitor Liberal, except on k5 where my postings tend to get lots of 1 and 5 ratings with few in between. If I had to nail it down to a label, I'm something of a moderate extremist. I support a spattering of issues from both sides of the political fence, plus a few from the Green and Libertarian plots, and tend to back these issues strongly.
So what shall I be to you? I am sort of a human news aggregator. I read a bunch of news sites, point out important stuff to people on IRC when I'm chillin' there, and later bring it up in webforum threads where I am near uniformly considered a conspiracy theorist because no one else reads the news as deeply as I do. Of course, what is a conspiracy theory in an age where a Congressman can accuse the Audubon Society of being behind the September 11 attacks? The answer, I find, is simple: it is that carelessly exposed part of the hidden truth.
You may see me return some time with a good story or a poor essay. For now, I will leave you with part of my reading list, but first some required reading:
And now for some key sites in my news-gathering routine:
