Nova Scotia columnist Scott Taylor maintains a weekly series of articles called On Target, a running commentary of the military events of the past week. I've followed this guy's articles for most of a year, and I'd say he knew his stuff except that I would be generally insulting him by selling him so short. If it isn't obvious, I recommend his columns to those who are able to get a hold of them in some way, shape, or form.
Anyway, Mr. Taylor has written an article this week concerning the media circus that has been building up around the "rescue" of Pte. Lynch. Mr. Taylor is generally Better Than I Am about writing about this sort of thing, so I simply present his column without further comment so that the reader may draw his own conclusions and ideas from it.
