  a public statement by the Communist Party; Yahoo.hk helped arrest him.
• Erotic text website Red Rose Stories shut down on federal obscenity
  charges. Not clear which federal law was invoked. Worth noting:
  US District
  Judge Gary Lancaster, in the same district, declared federal obscenity law
  unconstitutional this January. Not sure if this is the relevant law
  or not, but
  a federal obscenity law, title 18 section 1461, was used in the
  January case and
  the law has been around for a while.
  The law also criminalises, on a federal level, education about abortion
  and the abortion pill.
• Bush tells Syria to police the Syria-Iraq border because we can’t, also
  to stop supporting Islamic Jihad etc and interfering in Lebanon
• McClellan refuses
  to answer questions about Miers’s religion or, if you read the transcript, Bush’s Lebanon statement
