Live from the Nuke Free Zone

So apparently more guns are hitting the streets of Baghdad. Because, y’know, during Saddam’s rule and the chaos after the war they’ve been so effective at:

• preventing a tyranny from coming to power
• holding down violent crime
• anything else the NRA says they do

Yep… a few thousand more AK-47s is exactly what Iraq needs now. It sure was a good decision to officially recognize the innate right to bear arms in the days after the war. Not so much the right to not be tortured or the right to a trial or somewhat, but by gad the Iraqis have a right to own guns. Yay for Republican nation-building.
